In discussion of the current political climate , I began to feel frustrated, scared, angry, but most of all motivated to speak up. It is not okay for hardworking people, who pay taxes, just like everyone else, to have to tiptoe around their city due to the mass deportations currently occuring. Nobody should have to live in fear.

In my Technical Design course, we were given an assignment to create an installation with the use of visqueen. I used my material as a projection opportunity, Written on the visqueen is America, Land of the Free, sewn together by strands of thread to signify how loose the term applies to certain groups of people. to my community.
