Staying true to the cult classic film, Rocky Horror Picture Show embodies the messiness that comes with giving into absolute pleasure. Going into this production, I knew I wanted to incorporate a campy aesthetic of chaos through the use of prop bags, which were given out to everyone in the audience. Incorporation of audience participation allowed for the venue to transform throughout the screening according to the props acquired in each scene. From newspaper, bells, to small lights and party hats. The red seductive lighting and swarm of props in the air most definitely encapsulated the meaning of a real good time.
